Kokiyo Teriyaki 3 - Hillsboro: Authentic Japanese Cuisine in Hillsboro, OR

I ordered the beef and chicken teriyaki. The chicken was a bit dry and chewy, but the beef was good. Portion sizes were generous, and I loved the complimentary miso soup and tea bar. The prices were reasonable, making it a decent overall experience. Service was great.

This isn't fancy food but it is good old comfort food in a large serving prepared quickly. We had a oven incident and I called 15 minutes before closing time. The lady asked can you get here in 5 minutes and it's card only. No problem... we got there in 4 minutes. The food was ready, the order was complete and the lady who took my order was still smiling and friendly at the end of her shift. We ordered a side shrimp tempura, chicken teriyaki and chicken curry. I love Japanese curry and this wasn't the best but it was delicious and it was so much that I have enough for a 2nd meal. I only wish they had fukujinzuke a reddish/brown Pickle that highlights the curry sauce. It's in my picture. I was so hungry I started eating before remembering to get a picture. The shrimp tempura was like the kind you get at Costco. It's overbreaded but I still liked it cuz it was almost like shrimp toast with the pronounced shrimp flavor, I would probably order it again. The chicken teriyaki was delicious not overly charred and accompanied by rice and steamed veggies, again enough for a 2nd meal. This is my 4th time and I'll be back. The price is right, the portions are huge, it's ready quickly and the staff is friendly. What more do you need

The teriyaki was delicious. I've been looking for a good teriyaki place when I visit family in town. Decided to hit up this spot. Enjoyed it all. However I am used to a cold crisp green salad with my a teriyaki and this place serves steamed veggies which is fine but I really wanted a green salad. Service and delivery was quick and I look forward to trying some other things off the menu. Everything was clean and packaged nicely.

Large portions, great food and low prices. I'm in sales and whenever I'm in Hillsboro around meal time I'm coming here. By far the best teriyaki/ Korean "fast food" anywhere! Located behind Burgerville on Cornell.

Pepper, my red scout 60, took me to Hillsboro at the moto sport dealer. I need some summer gloves. After I as looking for something good to eat. Near the shop is Kokiyo Teriyaki. It's just before Noon o'Clock and the place is busy on this Tuesday. There are small tables and booths to sit and enjoy this wonderful food. There's a short line at the counter but moved quickly. I ordered spicy Korean chicken. It was only 12 something and it was real good and spicy. The dish included some nicely cooked rice and plain vegetables. First thing I did was mix the vegetables in with the spicy chicken to share the sauce. As I was finishing I nudge some rice into the sauce. Oh so good combination. Must come back to try some other items on the menu.

I've been a patron for over seven years, and this place has never failed to impress. Their chicken katsu stands out, offering generous portions at a fair price. Additionally, the all-you-can-drink miso soup is a delightful complement to every meal.

Large portions for cheap, especially the lunch specials! 10/10 great for those work/weekday meals.

This spot have ALWAYS been a staple for me and my family. I've been coming here since I was ten if not younger. That's almost 20 years of dining here at this exact location. The food has always been good, consistent every time I go. Waitstaff is always friendly and attentive. They've done a remodel recently and it looks so nice and more spacious. I recommend this spot 100%

Yummy food and fast service. The portions are plentiful; I got chicken and shrimp combo. The shrimp were on the small side, but there was more than enough chicken, rice and veggies! The teriyaki sauce was a little on the sweet side, but the bottle of sriracha on the table made it gave it just the right kick of spice.
